It was, so far, a wonderfully sunny and beautifully bright day.
Ryan was just arrived at the lab and still had enough time until his shift to catch up on his secret hiding spots around the lab and also to grab a sip of his regular dose of coffee. Which still was the same blend Mich had brought once and which had stayed with them ever since.
So far Ryan had only managed to drop his lab coat on the chair at the table that stood in the middle of the Break Room.
It was all empty at this late hour of afternoon and it was still visible from his standing point, at the sofa, that sun was slowly starting to set.
The last couple months had been both fun and slightly serene for the young criminalist. And he was still missing the relaxational activities and stuff, all the recreational variety the facility offered. Yet he missed his Lab and colleagues that for the most had become his friends as well.
He missed the hum of the Lab and their hurried steps through the hallways, missed half-hushed laughs and scientific discussions behind the glass walls of each lab.
It was pleasant to be back at the place after being lazy for such a long time.
