Bio: William (or Will as he's known to friends) was born in Edinburgh on October 22, 1982. He was the middle child of three; he had an older brother and a younger sister. He was always indesisive about what he was going to do as a career and at first wanted to become a forensic scientist. This later changed to being a forensic anthropologist, but his science grades didn't qualify him for the appropriate university subjects. After finishing school, he took a break in which he did a working holiday around Europe. During that time he decided to try do law. At 20 his family emigrated to America, where Will got into Harvard Law School. After graduation, his parents decided to move back to Scotland, and his two siblings moved out of America.

William is very charming and is very determined when he sets his mind to it. He is great around children, which was a bonus when he worked in family law. He's a very bubbly person, however when it comes to his work he is very dedicated and serious. To outsiders he may seem like an eccentric fellow, but his friends adore his kookiness. When he sets a goal to go for, he rarely stops until he achieves it, no matter what it is.

His passion for forensics is still strong and he enjoys reading forensic literature. He also enjoys historical fiction and sci-fi. He does several different sports, but isn't competitive in them. For him it's just a fun way to keep fit and socialise. He can speak English, Scottish English and some Italian (one of the countries he visited on his working holiday).

He and Maya meet at a MDPD ball, where the two hit it off after a mutual interest in Doctor Who.
