Kiki looked to the door and offered James and Eric and small smile.

James nodded to her, then lead Eric into the room

Eric walked over to Kiki, sitting down at the table she was sitting at.

James sat down as well, Kiki looked at them, uncertainty in her eyes as she watched the two men

Eric looked at the young girl and offered her a small smile.
"Hola, Cristina. Tenemos algunas preguntas acerca de Ana." Eric said to her and Kiki looked at him, nodding a little. "You were her best friend, right?"
Kiki nodded again. "We know each other since we were kids."

James watched them at the same time, letting Eric handle the Spanish

"Cristina... any chance that Ana might have ran into the Mala Noche on one or another occasion?" he asked her. Ana thought about that, then sighed a little and nodded.
"No va a ayudar si miento, ¿verdad?" Cristina said and sighed a little. "Ella tenía un novio, hace un mes. Es con la Mala Noche. Pero Ana no lo sabía, hasta que él le pidió que se unan."


[No va a ayudar si miento, ¿verdad? = It's not going to help if I lie, is it?
Ella tenía un novio, hace un mes. = she had a boyfriend, about a months ago.
Pero Ana no lo sabía, hasta que él le pidió que se unan. = But Ana didn't know, until he asked her to join.]

James leaned in a bit, "Es con la Mala Noche?" he asked

"Her ex-boyfriend." Kiki said to James, looking at him.

James nodded in reply, "What happened between them?" he asked

"When he asked Ana to come and join the Mala Noche with him, she left. Ana doesn't want to get involved with them, she knows what they're up to and that's not her." Kiki said to James, looking a little lost, as tears formed in her eyes. "¿Crees que esto consiguió la secuestraron de Ana?"

James watched her, "We're not sure" he said gently

Kiki sighed a little. She just wanted her friend to be okay.

Meanwhile Ana was still trying to get rid of the rope around her wrists.

James saw it in her face

at the same time, one of her kidnappers walked over to the room and opened the door, "Still trying to get free?" he asked

"Cállate!" Ana growled, though it was only a muffled grunt coming from her, thanks to the tape over her mouth.

the guy smiled a bit when Ana did that, "Something you want to say tough chick?" he asked

Ana glared at the guy, trying to kick him.

the guy stood out of the way, then chuckled at her, "Silly girl" he said to her in Spanish before closing the door again

"Hijo de puta." Ana thought as she watched him leave, then smirked under her duct tape. "Eres un secuestrador horrible." she thought, as she slowly got her hands free. He hadn't checked on that before he left.


[Hijo de puto = son of a bitch;
Eres un secuestrador horrible = You are a horrible kidnapper]

at the same time, the guy's Mala Noche boss asked him about that

The guy said that everything was okay, since he tied her up personally. No one would get free if he tied them up. He was convinced about that and yet Ana would prove him wrong.

the boss nodded, not knowing what would happen next

back at the station, James was going over what they had again, hoping to find something that they missed the first time

Ana got her hands free and pulled them out of the rope, then removed the duct tape from her mouth and freed her feet. She looked around the room and got up from the bed, looking for a way out.

the two men didn't know that Ana had freed herself and the trouble that would soon come

At the same time, Ana got her cell out of her pocket and sent a message to Kiki, telling her that she was somewhere near Miami Beach, as she could hear the water inside the room she was in. Then she put her cell back into her pocket and tried to get out of the room.

When Kiki got her message she tried to find James.
