Ava grinned into the kiss, without saying anything. She would have been a hypocrite to say that she didn't enjoy his teasing. She followed him with her eyes as he started to prepare it. He really was good at that, while she was a disaster in the kitchen. "
"Trust me," she said, slightly shaking her head. "I would be able to provoke an explosion only from that."

Victor couldn't help but laugh at that. "How do they even let you be around the lab?" he teased. "It seems a miracle you haven't blown the place up yet. And that's exactly the reason I keep my handy dandy fire-extinguisher nearby."

"Hey!" she exclaimed, giggling a bit. "Don't you dare insult my abilities in the lab. I'm terrific at what I do. Pizza though, seems to be a too difficult task for me."

Victor got a confused-yet-amused expression on his face. "Oh yes, sure, Chemistry and forensic procedures are oh-so-easy. But pizza, no, that's too hard," he teased her.

"Shut up," she giggled again, remaining on the benchtop. "Just because you can do it, it doesn't mean that everyone can."

Victor laughed, shaking his head. "Well, there's always time to learn," he said with a grin. Noticing he had a bit of tomato paste still on his finger, he gently put it on the tip of her nose, with a soft chuckle.

Ava wrinkled her nose as he put some tomato paste on it. "No, stop it!" she exclaimed, getting off the benchtop. "You are such an ass," she joked as always, looking around for a napkin.

"Hey look, it's not even Christmas and I have my very own Rudolph," he joked, coming up to her and wrapping his arms around her waist, looking into her eyes.

"Stop it," she giggled slightly, trying to pull away from him. "I mean it. And give me a napkin."

Victor shook his head at her teasingly, then in a swift motion leaned over and with a soft lick removed the paste from her nose. He stood back, grinning, mischief in his eyes.

Ava closed her eyes tight as he licked the paste off her nose. She grinned back, raising an eyebrow. "You are still an ass," she told him, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Yum," he told her with a cheeky grin. "And yes, I know. You tell me that on an almost-daily basis," he teased her. "So I'm not gonna deny it. But let me say - that's it's only for you."

"Yes, I do," she said, raising an eyebrow. "Because that's what you are," she grinned, turning around, pretending to be upset.

Victor shook his head. "Naww, poor Ava's upset," he murmured, going up to her and cuddling her, placing soft kisses on her neck.

Ava couldn't help a soft giggle, even though she tried to stay serious. "Yes, I'm upset," she said, not being able to wipe the smile off her face. "And you will not make me change my mind with that."

"I wouldn't dream of doing that," he murmured into her neck, continuing to kiss it gently, his arms still around her waist, holding her close to him.

She smiled to herself, biting her lip as he did that. Her hands went over his and she relaxed in his arms, closing her eyes.

He nuzzled her neck gently, then suddenly pulled away. He could barely contain his grin as he went to put the finished pizza in the oven, before going back to Ava, his fingers playing in her hair.

She looked at him with a raised eyebrow as he suddenly pulled away. She turned around to face him and looked at him as he put the pizza in the oven. However, when he came back towards her, she smirked and took a few steps further. What was life, afterall, without a little bit of teasing?

He smirked, watching her. Coming up close, his fingers traced her bare collarbone and shoulders, as he looked deep into her eyes.

His touch sent shivers down her spine and, even though she found herself again getting lost in his eyes, she decided to play with him for a bit. "Not gonna happen, Doctor," she teased, as she turned around and ran away from him.

"What's not going to happen?" he asked innocently, following her. He adjusted the towel around his waist so it wouldn't fall off.

She turned her head only a little to see where he was and giggled, moving further. She kept the towel close to her body, to make sure it wouldn't fall off. "Nothing," she grinned. "Nothing you're thinking about is going to happen."

Victor raised an eyebrow. "But you're not pshychic, so you can't possibly know what exactly I might be thinking. It could be the most innocent thing in the world," he teased with a smirk.

She turned around so she was facing him, even though there was a pretty big distance between them. "Oh please," she smirked. "You and innocent? I don't think so."
