"I got that impression." Jane smirked. "It'd be great addition." now he was on teasing mode again.

"Unless you're a total tea person." Patrick said matter-of-factly.

But the enjoyment got interrupted.. "Ow!" Jane growled. "Have you hid Lisbon somewhere?" for a moment he even glanced around like looking if there's someone lurking around.

Then Maddy and Amber were turning flirty again. It amused Patrick for a bit. But it was fun to observe.

"Tea is amazing! I take my words back: tea makes the world go round. Or at least half the world..." She grinned. "No, I haven't hid her. I'm just channelling my inner-Lisbon. And come on, I didn't hit you that hard..." she added, rubbing his arm.

"See? World without coffee and tea would be like walking into wall." he said, though comparison wasn't the most poetic he'd muster. Obviously his tongue had already gotten its own mind.

"So you two now are on same wave or something?" he teased. Well she didn't hit him hard. But he couldn't resist light mockery. "Well I've been worse. Unless you don't start punching me in the nose I'll live."

Maddy giggled. "That's deep, Patrick, so deep," she teased him sweetly, giving him a hopefully-charming smile.

"I wouldn't punch you on your nose. Your nose is much too pretty to be broken..."

The blonde waved his hand indifferently. "Meh." was all he said before Maddy's smile nearly melt his already dazed mind.

"My nose feels grateful and sends thank you's." Patrick said patting his nose, that had been punched numerous times not only by Lisbon but also their suspects and other people, who got pissed by Jane's antics.

Maddy just smiled, then coming up to him, softly brushed the tip of her nose with her finger. "Poor Patrick's nose, getting beaten up so many times. But I'll protect your nose for you, how's that?" she asked sweetly.

"That sounds like perfect future." he beamed. Jane decided to ignore snort that came from behind. He knew that Ryan also was one suffering from nose punches. Only his puncher was Michi.

She grinned. "Wonderful. That's settled then," she told him, looking into his eyes for a moment, her own sparkling. When she heard a snort, she turned to face Ryan. "Ok, Ryan," she told him, faking reluctance. "I'll attempt to save your nose too..."

Patrick just smiled, his eyes gazing in Maddy's. Yeah that sounded so lovely.

"See, Wolfie, better watch stars in the night sky than before your eyes after heavy punch." Jane said before Ryan could even take a breath.

Amber raised her eyebrow at seeing the exchange between Patrick and Madison. The pretty brunette obviously had everyone wrapped around her little finger. It made her a little weary about Madison.

"Hey Ryan, don't worry," she said with a smile. "I won't listen to them while I form my first impression."

Maddy tore herself away from Patrick's hypnotising gaze, reminding herself that she was at work and that as much as she'd like to just stay here doing this, she shouldn't. Thank goodness she was only around friends; had IAB seen this little exchange, she'd never live it down, though to her it seemed rather innocent enough.

She turned to watch Ryan and Amber chatting, a small smile on her face.

Ryan mumbled some incoherent mumble at Jane and grinned at Maddy.


"Good idea. We tend to get some nonsense going on." he said to Amber with a smile. So far he hadn't gotten too much embarrassed.

Patrick just shook his head at his male friend. Sometimes Wolfie just didn't know where he's stepping into.

Then he had to smack himself, virtually, so his thoughts returned back on ground floor instead of dangling above Maddy. Still his eyes kept sweeping over her...

Maddy noticed Patrick's gaze sweeping over her and she smiled sweetly at him, a slight blush coming to her cheeks, as butterflies danced in her stomach due to his hypnotising gaze. She had a sudden urge to go over there and hug him, but she stopped herself. Instead she walked over slowly, seeing that everyone was still somewhat busy chatting amongst themselves. "Take a picture, sweetie. It'll last longer," she murmured teasingly into his ear.

Suddenly Jane realized that Maddy had caught him gazing at her. He returned the smile, trying to maintain his outside professional looking. They were at work, afterall. But still the blush creeped onto his cheeks along the slight raise of temperature.

Seeing Maddy fighting urge to make run for him, Patrick fought urge to throw his jacket away and got rid of his vest.

He just couldn't stop that blinding grin when Maddy teased him.
"Well, we can always sneak off. I know certain places within this building where nobody except the crew that built it has ever stepped in." Patrick returned the teasing murmur in her ear, just so slightly touching her ear with his lips.

Hearing that, Maddy blushed. "Oh don't tempt me like that, Patrick," she murmured back, biting her lip gently. "Because that is a really tempting offer. But one I probably shouldn't take..." As much as she wanted to take off with him right here and now, the rational part tried to remind her that she was still at work. It wasn't exactly winning the inner battle, but it was trying none-the-less.

Patrick smirked. "Just saying," he teased with innocent face. Truth was that he really didn't care if they were at work. But he had to remind him this wasn't nor Cali, nor CBI. But still he couldn't resist the thought of sneaking off with her, not that anyone would notice. Usually nobody noticed anything unless it was thrown into their faces, and even then it might not work.

"I know a dark spot behind locker room's walls. There's a nice mattress and small luminiscent lamp. And it's all covered with thick curtains." he tried again, smirk plastered on his face.

Maddy stepped closer to him, closing the gap so their bodies were almost touching, a small smirk playing on her lips. "You're most persuasive, you know that?" she murmured. Sneaking off for some time alone seemed like a wonderful idea, regardless of the fact that they were at work. It wasn't as if they were even busy - it was a slow day and the two would not be missed.

"The mattress I'm not so sure about," she said with a soft chuckle. "But everything else sounds most tempting. Lead the way," she added, her lips brushing his ear gently.

Patrick grinned. "I've heard someone telling me that before planting candy-bombs around CBI building." his smile almost made his cheeks cramp. "Don't let that mattress worry you, besides your backside will like it instead of hard metal." he was so beaming that even his curls seemed glowing now. Patrick felt couple butterflies fluttered against his insides when her lips brushed his ear.
He had to mentally pinch himself so he wouldn't do something silly in front of whole building.
But luckily they were at the first secret passageway, in the break room, behind kitchen shelves at the wall, where Alexa once disappeared running away from IA.
"Remember?" he asked as he gently pulled Maddy behind counter.

"You planted candy-bombs all around the CBI?" Madison asked with a chuckle, shaking her head. "How did they not kill you?"

She smirked at the mention of the mattress. She hadn't thought things would get far enough for it to be needed, but then again, Patrick was hot and they'd be all alone. Who knew how far things would go?

She grinned, giving a soft chuckle as he pulled her. "Oh yeah. I remember this secret passageway," she replied, thinking of how she'd first seen Alexa using it.

Patrick blushed brightly, "Well yeah, I did." he said, suddenly gazing at his hands, "Maybe because my 'twin' here invented the idea, so they thought it was her stunt. Like I wouldn't be able to pull of some slightly childish trick to lighten up the mood."

Patrick grinned, "I inspected it one day and found out another hole in the wall and managed to find my nice spot. Unfortunately the ventilation passages aren't most comfortable so had to borrow Ryan's mattress to make it comfier. Hope he won't chop my head off for taking his mattress."
Although it was surprising he hadn't noticed a missing mattress yet.

"See aren't you thankful you have a 'twin'?" she teased him sweetly. "You're able to put the blame on them if something goes wrong," she added jokingly with a giggle. "And I'm sure you can pull of childish tricks, though I doubt so at work."

Maddy raised an eyebrow. "So is this where you go when no one can find you on the couch? You sleep in the ventilation passage?" She shook her head, giving a soft chuckle. "And how is it that Ryan still hasn't realised that he has a mattress missing? Or is our Wolfie like the princess in that story - 'the princess and the pea' and he has a hundred mattresses to sleep on during the night so he won't notice a missing one...?"

Patrick gave a soft laugh, "Now I really am. This 'twin' is rather handy to have around. Although nobody could convince Lisbon it was me who actually put jumping paper frog army in her desk drawers. They believed it was Mich. But she always talks me into most childish pranks." It was truth. Since Michelle put him under her spell he was behaving totally different.

"Well yeah, I do sleep here when I feel too tired to just take a nap. This building doesn't have nice attic so I found this as better choice. Lab is right here but it's dark and warm. And quiet enough. Nobody believed me when I tried to convince them I actually do sleep. Not much but sometimes I get really tired and then I hide here." Patrick explained with a shrug. He was famous for only taking naps, not actually sleeping since he was chronic insomniac. But there still were days when he was dead tired and could sleep for a long time.

"I was wondering about it too. But considering how forgetful our amnesiac Wolfie is I'm not surprised if he's forgotten about it. But I know he keeps his wheelchair in Michi's locker. And the thing is named Tom or Tim. Our Absent-mind hasn't noticed that I reorganized his locker. Which is weird for constant OCD freak." Jane told. Though he wasn't quite sure if Ryan has actually looked into his locker. The guy seemed somewhat spaced lately so maybe it was good. "Oh but when he eventually comes back to reality beware double interrogation. He'll tear this place apart for that mattress. It's blue with pink dots and I bet his favourite." Patrick shuddered a bit. He knew Wolfie will chop his head off for 'borrowing' that darn thing. But contrary to popular belief Jane could run. And pretty fast.

Maddy giggled. "Remind me never to become a boss and have my own office. Otherwise I'll have my very own frog army organising their next attack in my desk within days," she teased.

She pretended to look shocked. "So you're not actually a Time Lord or something who only survives on naps? You do actually need actual sleep? It cannot possibly be true," she stated dramatically, bringing her hand to her forehead. Then she couldn't help but chuckle. "You should just sleep on the couch in Horatio's office. He's never there anyways."

Maddy shook her head, rolling her eyes at him, but not meanly. "This is why you neither touch nor 'borrow' other peoples stuff without their permission. First thing you learn in Adulthood101. Or did you miss that particular memo?" she joked. "But if worst comes to worst, I'll shoulder the blame for you. I'll say I stole it during a particularly-drunk night for purposes that I can neither remember nor say. He likes me too much to kill me, so you should be safe," she said with a chuckle.

"Oh so you think you can avoid such thing? Na-ah. You cannot possibly know where some frog army could be hiding just for you, my dear." Patrick teased with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"You really belived I was Time Lord or something? I feel touched, you've found out my secret life. But in fact I can survive without sleep, only seems that certain people around are not going to let me live my secret life." he made a fake shocked face, mischief still playing in his blue eyes.

At mention of couch in H's office Patrick made some eyebrow movement, "So is that a suggestion? I can always talk the man in going home early when he's here." he grinned at some thought that came along.

"Uh..." Jane pretend scratching his head, "Probably I skipped that lesson." he teased. "On the other hand, I don't mind Wolfie coming after me. Should be fun. Besides I got the impression he likes me too." Patrick bit his lip suddenly. He nearly let it slip again. At that thought his cheeks slowly took bit more of pink-ish hue.
