Ava smiled and tried to pull away from him, but his grasp didn't lessen and he kept her close. She looked up at him, a playful grin on her lips. "What are you doing?" she asked.

"Nothing..." he told her innocently, one hand going up her top and resting on the bare small of her back, keeping her close. His other went to her neck, caressing it. "You're soaked right through. I thought I could warm you," he added, keeping up the innocent act.

Ava raised an eyebrow as she smiled at him. "I am fine just like that," she said with a slight smirk. "I don't need you to warm me up."

"Are you sure?" he murmured sexily into her ear, before beginning to place small soft kisses on her jawline.

Ava giggled at that. "Stop it, you're tickling me!" she grinned.

Victor chuckled, rolling his eyes playfully. But instead of fully stopping, he just went to her neck, kissing it instead, at times nipping gently at the soft skin underneath.

Ava giggled again, as she pulled away from him. She went behind him and took the ball from the ground. "Come on," she said playfully. "I've got to win this in order to avoid a dinner."

Victor's mouth dropped open and he gave a unbelieving chuckle. "You really don't want dinner with me that much?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

"What do you think?" she teased with a grin, as she passed by him and ran towards his basket.

"I'm gonna go all Dr. Phil on you and say that you're just trying to hide your true feelings," he teased as he chased after her.

"Well then, you're not a good Dr.Phil," she kept teasing, as she ran away from him, bouncing the ball.

Victor caught her around her waist and picking her up, spun her around. It was a childish thing to do, but he figured it might make her laugh and besides cheesy and childish things were meant to be done in the rain. "Oprah would say the same thing to you too," he teased.

"Victor!" she giggled, dropping the ball again. Her hands went over his, as she let her head gently fall on his shoulder. "Oprah is overrated," she teased back.

Victor laughed. "Yes. Yes she is," he replied back, placing a kiss on her temple when she rested her head on his shoulder.

She smiled, as she managed to put her feet on the ground. She turned around in his arms, so she was facing him.

His hands brushed her wet hair from her eyes, cupping her face and looking deep into her eyes. "You're gorgeous," he couldn't help but whisper, smiling at her. No matter what, she had the ability to make him smile lots whenever he was around her.

Her arms went around his neck, as she smiled up at him. "So are you," she whispered back.

Smiling, Victor brought his lips to hers kissing her softly. "Thank you," he murmured, pulling away for a moment, then kissing her again slowly, the rain gently falling on them.

Ava smiled into the kiss, passing one hand through his wet hair. She would have never expected to fall for Victor, or Dr.Hunt, how she had known him at first. She would have never expected him to discover a sweet, romantic side of her not even she knew. But now, it felt so good and so right, opposite to what she had expected.

When he needed air, he broke the kiss, but remained close to her, their noses touching. "Ava Smith, you are seriously the coolest, the most amazing and the most gorgeous woman I've ever had the pleasure of meeting," he told her softly, looking into her eyes. "And no, I'm not about to propose," he said with a laugh. "I just wanted you to know how special you are... And that you mean a lot to me..."
He wasn't usually one for those sorts of emotional talks. To him they usually seemed over-rated. But today he wanted to make sure that she knew how amazing he thought she was. Because who doesn't like hearing that from someone they care about (despite her constant denial)?

Ava smiled, listening to him. It made her heart beat faster with pure joy. She chuckled at his proposal comment, moving even closer to him, their bodies touching now. When he stopped talking, she pressed a soft, yet sincere kiss on his lips. After she pulled away, she looked up, deep into his eyes. "Thank you," was all she could stay after such beautiful words.

Victor brought his hand up to her cheek, smiling at her. "Ava... I...I love you," he told her softly, his words so quiet that if she hadn't been right there she would have missed them. Everything had seemed perfect and that was how he really felt about her. He didn't at all expect her to say it back, after all they still weren't in a serious relationship. But there didn't seem to be a better time than this to tell her.

Ava kept looking up at him, eyes a bit widened and lips slightly parted. She hadn't expected these words from him, but in a way, she had wished for them. She hadn't noticed that for a long time, but now, that he had said them, she understood. Because she couldn't speak just yet, she, once again, pressed her lips against his, one hand in his wet, blonde hair.

Victor couldn't help but smile as he kissed her. One hand went to the small of her back, gently pressing her closer to him, the other went to the nape of her neck, resting there. The world around him seemed to melt away, time seemed to stand still as they just stood there, kissing.

Ava's cold hand touched Victor's cheek. She smiled slightly as she broked the kiss, in need of air. Once she did that, she looked up into his eyes. She always seemed to lose herself in them. "Victor..." she said softly. "I love you too."
