"Yeah. And I'll call Jack and ask how far they got back then." Sam nodded and took her phone looking for number learnt by heart. She was more tempted to call Martin though but decided to call the bossman instead.

Natalia watched Sam for a moment, before she got to work on her task, hoping that they'd find something they could use to find Alexa. Though one thought was still in Natalia's mind: what happened to Alexa back then that had her totally lost of her own self, so she wouldn't start looking for her sister?

Ryan looked at Natalia noticing her thoughtful expression. "Penny for your thoughts." he said to her while Sam exited the lab room

Natalia looked up while she waited for the results, sighing a little.
"I just wonder what happened to Alexa that she wouldn't start looking for her sister, that she seemed to totally have forgotten who she was. I mean, Amnesia is common for bad injuries during an explosion, but then it should only be temporarily." she told him.

Ryan thought for a moment.
"Tell me about it." he told putting ice pack away for a moment. "Amnesia is one crapy thing. I still can't be sure if I'd remember this day when the weekend comes. And Michelle. She still doubted me as her brother if we hadn't did that test by ourselves. She didn't know herself for years until slowly, through dreams and stories, gained some sense." Ryan let the speech flow. He hadn't talked out his memory issues yet. For some part he felt ashamed by his inability to remember everything, his past and some current events. His memory changed by days or weeks.
"If you ask me, a lot might've happened. Maybe she got thrown further away from Sam and was found later by someone and taken away. Or she walked away by herself, still dazzled, and then somebody found her. Maybe she was kidnapped and then got away. I just she'll be fine when we find her." he finalized his thought trail.
Oh how Ryan wished Alex be ok. They were such a good friends and having her somewhere made him crazy.

Natalia listened to Ryan telling her about the memories and the troubles he had with remembering things, as she sometimes noticed. But she knew he didn't like talking about it, as she could imagine it made him feel... different. Though to her Ryan was a friend who needed good friends to help him and that was what she was going to do: help him. Whatever it was he needed help with.
"Well... guess we'll be having a lot of work to do... first to find her and then after she's found. Let's just hope she's still alive and will be okay."

Ryan nodded. It all depended on her being or not being on any DBs. If she was, then they had a chance to find her.

"Yeah that we do..." he said when his phone suddenly vibrated. "Damn." Ryan muttered putting the thing back in his pocket.

Sam was outside. In the car park. She'd received a notice from her doctor and now she had to leave. She sent a message to Nat, letting her know she had emergency.

But when she was looking for her bike a surprise call happened.
Mac Taylor himself wanted to speak to her....

Mac had given Sam a vital clue about Alexa

Girl was still fuming. But after the escape she wondered around the beach. It was soothing.
She looked at her knuckles and noticed vague bruising.
It was clear that she didn't feel any pain but it was sure as hell Ryan hurt.
After all her hand was now almost metal. Slowly Michelle was becoming a cyborg.

Natalia read the message from Sam and sighed a little bit, but had to deal with Sam going on an emergency. Meanwhile she was still trying to find anything on her sister, which wasn't that easy.

But Ryan at the same time dropped his phone on table angrily after he declined yet another call.

"Stop. Just stop." he said to the phone when it beeped

Nat looked up from what she was doing and looked at Ryan.
"Not working?" she asked, nodding to the phone.

"Oh... uh... no's it's working. Just someone...uh... my doctor, actually, tries to get me on phone." Ryan fidgeted with phone nervously, trying to make it stop beeping. "Better switch it off. Some people just don't get the simplest signs." he said apologetically, switching off the thing and throwing it on the side table. Sometimes doctors could be very annoying.
He grabbed the laptop from table and started furiously typing something into it.

Natalia nodded a little, though she got a little worried as to why he just didn't answer the damn phone and talked to that doctor. She wanted to ask him about it, but then decided to let it go for now and get back to her work.

Ryan was fuming from inside. Despite that doctor being a friend of his didn't gave him rights to rule his life.
Yeah, damn Wolfe stubbornness. And this particular one, he referred himself, was a brilliant example.

Sighing he kept typing something, even he had no idea what exactly, into the laptop.
More like something to calm down.
He shouldn't be so frustrated over such a small thing. Though he was. And the still throbbing face was a good reminder of how bad for him can turn out another bout of lost temper.

Natalia went back to her work, looking through some files on her computer, but she kept an eye on her friend. She knew he was mad and just didn't want to show it. That was something Nat found herself actually admiring about him. Don't let your anger get to someone innocent.
"Sometimes I wonder why it's so hard to find something..." she said quietly and mostly to herself, a hint of frustration in her voice.

Ryan sighed. He took the ice pack away his face. Then looked up his reflection in laptop's dark screen. He sighed again.
Now this was something he has to cope with. Bruise was huge and looked awful. Black and blue. And streak of red in between.

Mich's hand was really heavy, he thought, gently touching the wound.
It hurt as hell. He moved his jaw a bit. That hurt too.

He sighed again, this time almost groaning.

He heard Nat and sighed again.
"We'll find her, Nat. We'll find." he walked over her and put a hand on her shoulder. Then Ryan walked out to get new ice bag.

Natalia nodded to Ryan's words. "I know." she said and then watched him leave, before she went through the file again. Wasn't there something in that one?

Ryan returned with a fresh ice pack. He sat in his seat with an overly sad and bit painful expression. He sighed deeply, desperately trying to hide coughing fit that arised with lungful of air.

"Hey... check this out." Nat said to him shortly after he returned. She was worried about his well-being, but she dropped that for now, knowing that he didn't like the fuss about him.
"So, there was a missing person's report for Alexa and some woman claimed to have seen her, about a year ago."

He frowned. "Really? That might be a lead." Ryan said thoughtfully.
For a moment he totally sunk deep in thoughts

Natalia nodded a little and continued to read the file, wanting to find out more about that mysterious woman who saw Alexa. Nat glanced up at Ryan, noticing he was lost in his thought.
"Ry? you ok?" she asked gently.

Mention of his name caught his attention and he looked around startled. "Oh...uh...um...yeah I'm fine, just..." he started to say when his computer beeped.
"Oh, looks like Sam has gotten something from NY." Ryan said reading a message from Sam who obviously couldn't reach him on the phone.

Natalia nodded a little and then her face lit up a little.
"Good news, or bad?" she asked, referring to what Sam found.
