"SCREW YA!" Mich retorted.
She tried to hold the laugh but it started to endanger her ribs.
"What a whiner. SUCK IT UP!" she gasped.
Then girl noticed two figures coming towards them.
"I swear he's about to take it down to garage and make it to spill his lost coins." Mich said the two, pointing at Ryan, who was now hugging the thing trying to shake it. "Or either he'll brake his back trying" she rolled her eyes. "HEY YOU! Mr. Vending-Machine-Lover GET OFF ALREADY! It's really pointless. Unless you call Walter to take it down bear-like. But I suggest Greg. He can negotiate it better than you now." girl was laughing hard again

Natalia stood a bit aside, watching with a slight smirk, shaking her head a bit.

"SHUT UP!!!" he jumped at his little sister but she already predicted this movement, sliding sideways and making him stumble. He didn't expect this and almost walzed into a glass wall, barely avoiding it just by half inch, landing himself into empty chair.
"DAMN YOU AND YOUR WICKED MIND!" he yelled at her again as he gained his footing. He got lucky it was this chair. In his old days it wouldn't be worry. He'd done lots of clumsiness acts to fulfil the rest of his life.
"That damn thing stole my money! I want my money back! All of it!" he said to rest of the company that stood aside as if they were going to bite. Well at least Sam wore this constant expression.
"It owes me ten bucks" Ryan pointed at the 'guilty' vending machine that was tended to steal money from everyone who dared to feed it with their respectative coins

Natalia looked at her co-worker and still smirked a little bit. Though she was glad that he got himself into the chair and not the glass wall. Though she was wondering why that stupid vending machine ate their money without giving the coffee they wanted.

Mich snorted "So you were arresting it? Reading it's rights?" girl shot back grinning

Natalia smirked a little when she said that. "Might be worth a try."

Ryan grabbed a handful of hair. "Gah! You're impossible Michelle!" he still had urge to grab his sister shove her into wall but he dropped to the floor next to the stupid machine instead.
"I think I have an idea." Ryan crawled around vending machine and inspected it closer. Thankfully his mind reeled onto the new occupation instead of fighting the unwanted urge. In different situation though, who knows what he'd do.
He poked something on the back of the machine, slashing his hand a bit on something sharp.
And then he quickly pushed all the buttons in a sequence that made sense only to him. Something clicked and with a help of his old friend paper clip, he carries with him, and few more clicks all the stored money started to fall out.
"Here ya change." he triumphantly grinned

Mich arched her brows.
Impossible was he. But his next movements made her jaw completely drop.
He cracked up a damn vending machine like an old lock of a door.

She coughed out something that sounded like "moron" or "ass".

"Change my butt, bro, you're impossible" she huffed picking her head in disbelief

Sam smirked. It was so adorable to watch them. Like back then. Those were times.
They were all so happy. And, eventhough Michelle had lost her memory and Ryan's was still struggling to put the pieces together, they were acting like nothing had happened. Like nothing had changed.
Michelle ever so sneaky and pulling pranks on others, teasing them to no ends.
Ryan so clumsy and unstable on his own feet but determined and smart that nothing could stop him. The one who got into trouble but still managed to pull it off. Guy, who could stay up all night inspecting stars, organized his things and total cleaning freak, but so pure in his heart, so caring and loving. The crash had changed only a tiny bit of his true self. Deep inside he still was that young boy who loved Allisson and had the greatest plans for future. And here he was, reached his goals.

A tiny glow appeared on Sam's cheeks. Few tears, that symbolized her memories, escaped

Natalia watched them, she noticed the tear that escaped Sam's eye and with a tender smile she gently touched Sam's shoulder with her hand.

Sam looked at Natalia with her big watery eyes and smiled.
"They are so...so much like they used to be.. Like the crash never happened." she whispered, her voice hoarse. She never was emotional. Only once. After learning what happened with her and her sister. And once before, when their brother did something horrible and got 20 years. But she knew he'd done it before with someone so close she even feared to ask. So she never asked. Never cared to know anything about him anymore.
And what he'd done with Ry and Allie. Ryan still blamed himself though he got hurt badly. And it was raining heavily.
Another set of tears sprung out.

Natalia nodded and gave Sam a smile. She knew what she meant. And for once, Nat was happy to know that Ryan and Michelle were just like they ever were.

Sam sighed deeply.
"And they bring the feeling that my sister could be in Miami. Maybe twins bond. But they, even though not consciously, just make me sense my sister. Maybe they're actually twins?" she even attempted to joke.

"Who knows. They're just a year apart and I heard those kind of siblings can have the same bonding as twins." Natalia said, though a smile on her lips.

"I guess so. But still they keep me amused all the time" girl said thoughtful looking at the siblings who still were bickering over some stuff. It felt as if crash hadn't been.

Natalia nodded in reply. She knew what Samantha meant. Sometime, when Nat was watching them, she couldn't help but smile.

"So shouldn't we get back to our supposed work? Somebody seems to be little playful today." Sam said yawning and stretching out while Ryan and Michelle darted around chasing each other down the hallway.

Natalia smirked a little as she watched Michelle and Ryan, then looked at Sam.
"Seems they're in a hurry." she replied in a light tone.

"Yeah looks that way." Sam grinned.
"Hey whacko chipmunks! Yeah you two, stop playing around! Time to grow up and get back to work!" she called out to her playful friends.

Natalia watched, not saying anything, just waiting to see what happens.

Ryan stopped dead in his tracks making Michelle bounce into him and loose balance.
"YOU!" he suddenly yelled at Sam pointing finger at her and getting up from the floor "Will pay!"

"Oh... c'mon, can we finally get back to the case?" Natalia asked him, loosing a bit of her patience.

Sam rolled her eyes at Ryan. "Such a baby."

Ryan scowled at both ladies and crossed his arms over his muscular chest and tilted his head, and suddenly there was this innocent puppy look "I am allowed to take my own time for solving cases. But I guess you'd keep my head on my neck if I obey" he replied Nat, receiving a chuckle from Michelle and sudden poke in his side from behind

"So, please ladies, get this old garbage can of bones to work finally. These fellow lazy bones piece of whimp needs to get back to work finally or I'm taking my baseball bat and do it myself" Mich stated, poking Ryan yet again and receiving scowl from him. But she just smirked at that.
